Speaking from personal experience, I can tell you that yes, it works. Here’s how:
1) The first step in hypnosis training is accepting that whatever state you are in, your own actions, desires, fears — whatever your thoughts are — have brought you to this place, state and time. This is important, not from a negative perspective but from a positive perspective. This acceptance and understanding allows you to see that you can change your life by training your mind. This sounds absurd at first because YOU didn’t get you here, your horrible job that pays nothing got you here or your lack of education or just plain bad luck.
To understand how YOU got you here, go through your thoughts in the past twenty-four hours. What have you been thinking about? Maybe you can’t remember because you’ve been busy screaming at the kids or trying to figure out how to get another hundred dollars on your paycheck. Whatever your thoughts have been about the past twenty-four hours, chances are good that most of those thoughts were negative. Think about THAT.
2) Once you buy into the fact that how you think has been responsible for where you are now, the second step in succeeding with self-hypnosis is being willing to change how you think. This can be really tough. It takes a true desire and discipline.
3) To change your life, you have to change YOU. Are nasty, rude people the kind that you want to be around? or do business with? or do anything else with? I’m guessing the answer is that you do not or at least not all the time. Who do you like? Generally, we like happy, cheerful, successful and rather forceful people the best. So step number three is acknowledging that maybe you have not been the most pleasant person to be around. Or maybe you are just the opposite — a milk toast — people walk all over you all the time. These are not very happy people either and certainly not people that are very successful in life. It seems they always have a sad story to tell.
4) Step four is the hard part — doing something about it. This is where we finally get into self hypnosis. Self hypnosis is training yourself to think in a new way and is not much more than targeted and directed meditation. Scripts are a big part of self hypnosis. For virtually every self-improvement plan, affirmations or scripts are involved and they are important. An affirmation may be “whatever anyone asks me today, the answer is ‘Yes’”. If someone asks you if you have bananas for sale, your answer will be “Yes, we have no bananas.” If someone asks you if that dog across the street is yours, your answer will be “That is not my dog but you have a reason for asking. I would like to know why you ask.” Then smile. (That’s not a ‘Yes’ answer, but it is a positive answer). This is how affirmations are put to work.
5) Does self-hypnosis work? Absolutely. Self hypnosis has definitely changed my life — for the better. I’m am always amazed that even when things are not tip-top — and maybe especially when things are not tip-top — my self hypnosis brings me to a better place every time. Self hypnosis keeps me on target for a solution to whatever my problem of the moment may be. I am better at work, more help to my family and most of all, I feel a lot better about me. Try it. You won’t be disappointed.
Hypnosis is a state of mind that is natural and highly focused. By creating a sense of relaxation, self hypnosis is a valuable tool to anyone who desires more than they currently have from their life.
Struggled with depression and feeling that everything is hopless? Your life can be better, happier and more fruitful. I know because I was there, but not anymore. hypnosis-self-esteem.com Article Source:http://www.articlesbase.com/mental-health-articles/self-hypnosis-does-it-work-1591159.html
